Brief Career Background:
In graduate school, I studied the effects of exposure to infection in utero on the developmental outcomes of infants born prematurely. I also worked as the mental health consultant for the JCEEO Head Start for 5 years and at the Civitan International Sparks Clinics for more than a decade. Currently, I am an associate professor of psychology.
Educational Background:
- Graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in psychology in 1995.
- Obtained a Master's in 2004 and a Ph.D. in 2007 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
